I don’t recall the situation that triggered the discussion of Ironman masks between Nathan and me, but it lead to a few queries on google and landed us on this page, where we found a great template for making our own. I printed the pieces out at 100%, cut out all the pieces, and taped them together (gluing may have been better, but I had a 3-year-old chomping at the bit!). The end result is below. I think it turned out ok. We’ll see how long it can survive the little hands. (Oh, and note that the reason the face looks pink is the printer ran out of yellow ink in mid-print.)

    Just a couple of days late — this would have been awesome for answering the door for kids at Halloween!

    @Mike Indeed it is a well done template. It took about 30 minutes to cut out all of the pieces and another hour or so to tape it all together. One thing to note is that for it to fit an adult, you’d probably need to print it out at about 150% or so.
